From template to a CV written for one job ad.

  1. Pick a layout

Click through the nine layouts. What you see is the real layout, with the same fonts, spacing and margins as the export.

  2. Upload your CV

Your PDF flows into the layout you chose, structure and content included — and the file is stored on EU servers in Frankfurt.

  3. Paste the job ad

Any text, or a link from a job board. About 60 seconds later you have a CV written for that specific role, in the language the ad is written in.

  4. Edit and export

Change any line straight in the browser and switch layout whenever you like. Saving and PDF export need a free account.

What a live layout does for your application.

  • All nine are ATS-tested

None of them is decoration. Every layout is tested so an ATS reads the text in the order a person reads it.

  • One click changes everything but your words

Content and layout are separate. Look at the same application as Classic, then as Banker, then decide — nothing gets retyped.

  • The preview is the PDF

What sits on your screen is what lands in the file, line for line. No surprise when you open the download.

  • Built for German application norms

Upload and crop an application photo, add a handwritten signature. The structure stays tabular and reverse-chronological, the way German recruiters expect it.

  • The layout holds

Margins stay put and bullets stay on their page, whatever you edit. You can still change a word five minutes before sending.

  • German or English, decided for you

The output language follows your CV and the advert. A German ad gets a German CV — in the same layout you picked.

A clean layout, with your substance in it.

A good layout makes your CV readable; the substance stays yours. Every role, figure and skill in the output comes from the CV you uploaded, job titles exactly as you wrote them — a validator confirms it before you see the result. We sharpen the wording, and where the role asks for something beyond your CV, we point it out so you can answer it your own way.

Questions about the templates.

Are the templates really free?

Yes. Browsing all nine layouts, trying them and switching as often as you like costs nothing — you can even tailor your first CV without an account. Saving and exporting need a free account, and your first three applications are included. After that you buy one-off credit packs: no subscription, and credits don't expire.

Which layout is safest for ATS?

Classic — a Harvard-style layout with no decoration to trip anything up. All nine are tested, but Classic is the most conservative choice when your application goes through a large company's applicant system. Applying by email or through smaller portals gives you more room to pick on looks.

Can I switch template later without losing content?

Yes, any time, in one click. Your content is stored separately from the layout, so switching keeps everything. If a layout doesn't display a particular section, we tell you before you switch — and that section stays saved in your profile either way.

Do they work for a German tabular CV with a photo?

Yes. All nine layouts present your career tabular and reverse-chronological, the format expected in Germany. You upload an application photo and crop it right in the editor, and you can add a handwritten signature as well.

Can I export the finished CV as a PDF?

Yes, and PDF is the only export format, by design. The exported file matches the browser preview exactly, fonts and page breaks included. You need an account to export; looking and tailoring work without one.

Can I get the template as a Word file?

No — we export PDF only. That's deliberate: the moment a file opens in Word, the layout shifts depending on the version and the fonts installed on that machine, which is exactly what we're avoiding. You make your edits in the browser instead, where preview and export are the same thing.

Pick a layout, finish the application.

Choose a template, upload your CV, paste the advert. The tailored version appears in the layout you picked, ready to edit and export.
